One sent and two more ready to go.

I have a few more pages completed in the CJ page swap that I am taking part in.

The first one had the theme "East is.....":

The background is ink and glimmer mist, the lace at the side was stamped and gilded, and my elephants were made by stamping on Angelina fibres.  It was finished with glitter glue, ribbon and a few jewels.

The next page was on the theme "What inspires you?":

I used stamps by Tim Holtz, Invoke, Inkylicious, Hero Arts, 7 Gypsies and Stampington.  Base paper was by Prima and the alphabet is Tim Holtz, covered in Distress Stickles.

The last page had to be anything to do with fairies:

The background was made with Terra paste and inks for texture.  I've added some paper by Graphic 45, Fairies from Lavinia Stamps, some flowersoft, mini flowers, words from a book and some glitter glue.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing Easter weekend.

Thanks for looking X

Circle Journal pages

A group of us are doing a swap where we choose a theme and receive one page per month on that theme from one of the other members, in turn, until we have a whole collection.

These are my first two pages which have now been sent so I can show them.

First a page on Words and their definitions for Annette:
The background is a paper by Stampington which has been stencilled on with ferro and paints, then stamped.  There is a large tissue paper wing on there too which has had glitter applied.  The tag and letter W are by 7 gypsies, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, some german scrap and Cavallini stamps.

My next page was Songs and Silhouettes for Lou
Background was created with pastel crayons blended with a babywipe and stamped with a Judikins stamp, a crackle stamp and then parts were scratched to "age" it a bit more. The black panel is stamped and gold-leafed.

I am really loving this swap and I have my next three pages done already, but won't show them yet because they haven't been sent to their recipients.

Thanks for looking X

Woo hoo! Rosettes!

I have finally used some of the rosettes I made using my Sizzix Tim Holtz dies.  I made these ages ago and forgot all about them, but I found them when I was searching for something to make a quick card for some friends who are having a rough time at the moment:

Must start taking photos before it gets dark - it's no good trying to take them in artificial light, but I wanted to get this in the post.  Off to do an online food shop now because I don't fancy venturing out in this nasty weather.
Stay warm!

A bit of a magic trick..........

......is what I perform every time I put my slim black phone in to my black-lined handbag along with my black gloves, black diary and black purse, because when I want to retrieve my phone it has just disappeared!  I am no good at putting my phone in to a zip compartment or special place, I tend to just lob it in to my bag, and I was fed up of rummaging around for AGES to find it.  So I had a play with some grungepaper, Lynn Perella stamps, Fresco paints, a bit of ribbon, some sticky backed canvas, some stickles and a magnet and I came up with this phone holder:
Can't seem to get a sharp photo today but never mind!
At least I can find my phone in my bag now, so that's a relief.  Here's the back of the holder:

Little books of Secrets, Steampunk and Alice in Wonderland

I've taken part in another fantastic swap recently where we had to make a little book surrounding three drawers made from matchboxes which we then filled with surprises for the recipients.  Here are the two secret books that I made and I filled all the drawers with crafty embellishments:

First of all a Steampunk themed book.

Then I made an Alice in Wonderland themed book:
