A card and some Easter boxes

I made this card using an image very kindly sent to me by Sarah.
I coloured in the image using Stampin' Up! inkpads and blending brush.
I also used Pretty in Pink ink and cardstock, some Stampin' Up! DSP and a sentiment from the level 1 Best Yet Hostess set.

I've also been having a play making some Easter boxes using round, square and scallop punches.
Stamp sets used: Loads of love accessories, One of a Kind, Seeing Spots, Carte Postale and Botanical Blooms.
The larger box has a bag of mini eggs in it- just can't be seen due to the camera angle.(No, I haven't eaten them...........yet!) :-)
It's been much milder today but very dull and dark, so sorry about the photo quality.

A notebook for my sister

This is a little notebook that I made for my sister last year. She was just beginning to get really
interested in stamping and inks etc, and it's a bit mind-boggling at first with all the different kinds of inks available and various techniques, so I thought a notebook might help.
Here are pictures of just some of the pages.

Materials used:

Papers, tags and hardware: 7 gypsies
Stamps: 7 gypsies, elusive images, clarity stamps, crafty individuals
Chipboard swirl: Maya Road
Inks: Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

Thanks for looking x

Valentine Cards

Just decided to make some Valentine Cards this weekend.
No I don't intend sending them all (but wouldn't it be exciting if I did!) - may take some to work next week.

A few Sale-a-Bration Cards

All made with the Botanical Blooms set from the Sale-a-Bration promotion.

First card uses Frames with a Flourish and a Hero Arts Sentiment too.

Second Card also uses Circle of Friendship, Circle punch, Scallop circle punch and Scallop edge punch.

Well I don't know about you but I'm totally fed up of looking out and seeing snow now. Mind you I don't like the stuff anyway, even when it first falls - roll on Spring!

Kristina Werner Colour Challenge No 40

The colours this week are Old Olive, So Saffron, More Mustard, Taken with Teal and Whisper White.
Stamps are from Baroque Motifs, Office Accoutrement and Yummy.
Large flowers are punched from DSPs using 5 petal punch, and I inked the edges of them with Old Olive ink.

Chocolate - but not as we know it.

Saw these bars of chocolate today and I just had to buy them because they made me giggle. I don't normally buy chocolate of course (stop sniggering at the back there!) but I wanted to share them with you.
Click on the pictures to read the descriptions more easily.
Do you think my doctor will give me a prescription?

P.S. For more fun chocolate see Bridgette's blog www.cherryhillcrafts.blogspot.com

Altered Art

I love Altered Art and last October I was lucky enough to go on a weekend scrapbooking retreat(Luxurious Angels - sadly none planned for this year) Before the weekend began we were challenged to do two things:

1. Alter a pair of slippers (for the first evening "ice-breaker" pyjama party).
2. Create a name badge.

So here are my efforts.

I really enjoyed the retreat, it was great, we had some really good classes and I met some lovely people.
