I'm in the mood for love.............

...... but only because it's almost Valentine's Day :-)

I made some little gift hearts to hold a pair of chocolates using some Tonic dies.

The Front

Hearts in their bags hanging on a display

The back said either :Be Mine"  or "All my Love"

I also made a few cards:

Tonic dies again and Martha Stewart Punch.

To Die For dies and sentiment.

Tonic square and circle dies and some glossy accents.

Memory box dies and Martha Stewart punch.

One of my friends asked me to make a card for her parents' ruby wedding anniversary:

Tonic, Spellbinder and Tattered Lace dies, Just Rite Happy Anniversary and Cricut numbers. The background is embossed using a Creative Expressions embossing folder.
Thanks for looking.  Hope you are staying warm and dry X

Circle Journals from last year

Here are the last 3 pages I did for my swap last year:  First theme is Ladies:
Stamps are Crafty Individuals, Tape is Ranger and punch is EK Success.

The theme for this was Summertime. I can't remember who made the sunbathers stamps.  Their hats are corks, the beach huts are from a Paperartsy stamp.

Finally the theme of Nature:  Main stamp is by Sarah Lugg used on watercolour paper.  Background is inked with distress inks and the stamps are from a "Pictorial Websters Dictionary" set I found in Liberty's in London.  Egg sticker is by Cavallini and the Feather came from VW Rouleaux.

Play Date Cafe Challenge no 175

The colours this week are Lavender, Buttermilk and Vanilla.  Very Spring-like, so I used my "I love Paris in the Springtime" stamp from Stampendous, stamped with Eggplant ink by Adirondak and with a background of Pan Pastels.
I added purple sparkly embossing powder to the edge and mounted it on buttermilk and lavender card with some pale purple ribbon.  The background paper is by Prima.  The heart border is a Martha Stewart punch threaded with cream ribbon and an Eiffel Tower charm.
Happy Easter and thank you for looking X

Happy Mother's Day

Not an original title but never mind!

A quick post with some of the cards I made recently for colleagues at work.  I'm sorry they're not brilliant pictures - I'd already packaged them before I remembered to take photos - I must remember to keep the camera handy because I am useless at remembering to use it.

I cut the letters on my Cricut and stamped them afterwards, then used Martha Stewart punch, Cuttlebug embossing folder and spellbinder die.

On this card I cut the flowerpot on Cricut machine and added spellbinder foliage die leaves and punched flowers.

Large heart cut on Cricut and embossed, stamp is by Molly Bloom and "Best Mum" is a fridge magnet.

Hope you're having a good Mother's Day and thanks for looking X

One sent and two more ready to go.

I have a few more pages completed in the CJ page swap that I am taking part in.

The first one had the theme "East is.....":

The background is ink and glimmer mist, the lace at the side was stamped and gilded, and my elephants were made by stamping on Angelina fibres.  It was finished with glitter glue, ribbon and a few jewels.

The next page was on the theme "What inspires you?":

I used stamps by Tim Holtz, Invoke, Inkylicious, Hero Arts, 7 Gypsies and Stampington.  Base paper was by Prima and the alphabet is Tim Holtz, covered in Distress Stickles.

The last page had to be anything to do with fairies:

The background was made with Terra paste and inks for texture.  I've added some paper by Graphic 45, Fairies from Lavinia Stamps, some flowersoft, mini flowers, words from a book and some glitter glue.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing Easter weekend.

Thanks for looking X

Circle Journal pages

A group of us are doing a swap where we choose a theme and receive one page per month on that theme from one of the other members, in turn, until we have a whole collection.

These are my first two pages which have now been sent so I can show them.

First a page on Words and their definitions for Annette:
The background is a paper by Stampington which has been stencilled on with ferro and paints, then stamped.  There is a large tissue paper wing on there too which has had glitter applied.  The tag and letter W are by 7 gypsies, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, some german scrap and Cavallini stamps.

My next page was Songs and Silhouettes for Lou
Background was created with pastel crayons blended with a babywipe and stamped with a Judikins stamp, a crackle stamp and then parts were scratched to "age" it a bit more. The black panel is stamped and gold-leafed.

I am really loving this swap and I have my next three pages done already, but won't show them yet because they haven't been sent to their recipients.

Thanks for looking X
